The start time is 10am and the location is The Albratros Centre, Rosbercon, New Ross.

The Meath Senior Cross Country Championships will be held on Sunday 20th December at Ardbraccan in Bohermeen on the same course that it was ran in 2011.
Timetable as follows –
Ladies 4k – 11am
Mens 8k – 11.20am.
This will be followed at 12 noon by a series of Juvenile races confined to meath athletes in the following order –
Girls Under 9 – 600m
Boys Under 9 – 600m.

Athletics Ireland is pleased to announce the details for the first meeting of the Endurance Coaches Network (ECN) on Saturday 23rdJanuary at Athlone IT. The theme for this event will be "THE WINNING FORMULA: PRACTICAL INFORMATION TO CHANGE THE COACHING PRACTICE’S OF DEVELOPMENT TO HIGH PERFORMANCE COACHES". The event program will focus on giving coaches’ practical information that they can take away and use to help improve their own coaching practice and will be delivered through plenary presentations and breakout sessions. There will be time for question & answers at all sessions also. If you are a club coach, development coach or a performance coach then this event has something to offer you. The (ECN) will bring the coaching community together to gain & share knowledge and more importantly to network with each other. It will be hosted in the excellent surroundings of Athlone IT and run from9am-6pm, see attached flier for full details of the speakers and their presentations. Timetable below:

This is just a reminder that entries are open for the Juvenile B Cross Country & Juvenile Cross Country Relays which will be held in ALSAA on 9th January.
Entries for this competition close on 5th January – 4 days later than we would normally close entries, in order to give counties time to complete entries.

· First 3 teams receive medals; A sub must be declared and present on the day to receive medal.
The 2nd round of the Meath Cross Country juvenile league will take place on Sunday 13th December at Porchesfield Trim (Castle grounds) starting at 12 noon.
The programme is as follows –
Girls U/9 – 600m
Boys U/9 – 600m
Girls U/11 – 800m
Boys U/11 – 800m
Girls U/13 – 1,000m.
Boys U/13 – 1,000m
Girls U/15 – 2,000m.
Boys U/15 - 2,000m.
Girls U/17 – 2,000m
Boys U/17 – 2,000m.
Please note there is no parking on the course or on the adjacent link road.
There is plenty of parking in the town within minutes of the course.
We expect the programme will be completed by 1pm for people planning their day.
The 3rd and final leg of this league will take place on Sunday 31st January 2016 at a venue to be confirmed.
