Edited programme of events for Sundays championship

Please find attached an edited schedule of the programme of events for this Sundays U12-18 Meath championship - HERE.
We have moved the 800m and 600m races to start after the 60m, 80m & 100m sprints.  This is to allow greater recovery for those athletes who may be doing both the 800m and 1500m races and athletes doing the 100m and 200m in between their events.

High jump starts @ 9am with U12 boys followed by U12 girls.
U18s long jump will start @ 10.30am.
Javelin, discus and shot put competitions will all start @ 9am sharp.
Track events will start @ 11.30am with the U12 girls 60m heats.

Paddy Joyce, Cushinstown will be the Field referee for Sunday.
Brendan Meade, Star of the Sea will be Track referee for Sunday.

Please study the programme carefully and advise your athletes to be in Claremont early for their event as they may start ahead of schedule.  Times given are only guidelines.

Any other queries please contact Paddy Mangan or myself.

 P.S.

The U12 high jumps are taking place on Wednesday the 25th of May Day 3 of the interclub league night and NOT on Sunday as in the programme. Apologies. The high jump will start on Sunday @ 9am with the U15 girls followed by U16 boys.

Regards

Maggie
